Job Description

Join Alianza's revenue cycle team to keep claims clean, denials low, and the value-based care engine funded across our growing Puerto Rico network.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit medical claims accurately and timely to insurers
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements
  • Follow up on denied, delayed, or unpaid claims and coordinate corrections and appeals
  • Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile billing records in management systems
  • Maintain compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA standards, and healthcare regulations
  • Communicate professionally with providers, patients, insurers, and internal teams
  • Support revenue cycle reporting, documentation, and audit readiness activities
  • Assist in identifying billing trends, workflow improvements, and operational efficiencies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, insurance claims, and payer guidelines
  • Experience with EMR/EHR and medical billing software systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced healthcare settings
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
